Found this image, and realized that I actually love Londo’s face here even more than I love Vir’s. Because this is the scene where Vir hisses “I was wrong! Kill him!” just after watching Cartagia prance around the gardens with G’Kar’s blood all over him, and you can just see it in Londo’s face: “Great Maker, this is where Vir loses his innocence because of me.” And he doesn’t even know yet how right he is.
“Now, now he is ready to be the ambassador for the Centauri!”
[Vir helps him up - grasping his hand]
Londo Mollari: And you, you can go to hell, too, I wouldn’t want you to feel left out.

Because that picture reminded me of a fave Babylon 5 moment…
Londo: “Vir, do you believe in fate?”
Vir: “Well, actually, I believe there are currents in the Universe. Eddies and tides that pull us one way or the other. Some we have to fight, some we have to embrace. Unfortunately, the currents that we have to fight look exactly like the currents we have to embrace. The currents that we think are the one that’s gonna make us stronger, they are the ones that are going to destroy us. And the ones that we think are going to destroy us, they are the ones that are going to make us stronger.
Londo, remember what I said before, about ‘there must be another way?’ I was wrong. Kill him.
AUGH YOU ARE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL WHEN YOU WORK TOGETHER I CANNOT STAND THIS
